Mode selection button changes operation mode (manual/tap/toggle/tap+toggle). In tap tempo mode current tempo can be memorized by holding this buttom for a while (underlined M)
Bottom output section (gate out+inv. out jacks) is dedicated to process input directly (manual knob or gate-in in top section) = manual gate.
These outputs can be toggled in toggle mode – pushing button (or incomming gate) changes state of those outputs (like set/reset or division-by-2).
Mid section job differs according to mode selected:
– in manual gate mode knob sets fixed length of output gate (fixed output pulse length regardless of length of pushing or input gate length) from 1ms to 16s – can work as input trig/gate extender or shortener
– in tap tempo mode knob sets rate of division/multiplication (/4, /3, /2, unchanged, x2, x3, x4) derived from tapped tempo or input trig/gates (this allows for example faster or slower clock derived from input clocks)
left jumper selects 4-tap (jumper removed) or 2-tap mode (jumper set). 2 taps or 4 taps are required to change tempo.
right jumper selects trig/gate output length in mid section in tap mode: 5ms trigs (jumper set) or 50% gates (jumper removed)
If trigger output is selected in the mid section U-070 can generate unregular pulses, I´m working on free firmware update. Sorry for this issue.

Double check power connection before powering your system please.
„Red strip“ means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
