B-040 Exclusive gate module for Eurorack / Doepfer A100 system.
From the top down:
four gate input jacks + LEDs

B-040 is logic module choosing first incomming gate and preserving its length. Output is blocked by currently active gate, another gate can pass to output when output is off only. Fifth input can be set to clear output by rising edge of clear input (trig) or inhibit output while this inhibit input is active (output is off while inhibit gate is active) or freeze output state (output stays in current on/off state while freeze gate input is active). LEDs displays input states in full brightness for inputs currently participating on output. LEDs are dimmed if input is active but not affecting output (say if long gate is passing to output its LED shines at full brightness, if another input is active while such gate then its LED is dimmed). In situation of two time-overlapping gates output gate respects first incomming gate and then stays down until next new gate arrives. Output 2 can be set as normal (same output as out1 – as mult), as logic OR (inputs are ORed regardless of fifth input state) or as inverted out1. Internal jumper sets fifth input priority: if an signal starting in exactly same time is put to any input and fifth input together then jumper header set ensures priority of clear signal so no output will be generated. Jumper header removed sets no priority for evaluating fifth input so same signal to any input and fifth input can randomly generate output gate.

In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
