Data LED (blinking if data flows), no need for 5V rack power bus (powered from 12V rail).
No data manipulation, optocoupled input of course.
Splits one MIDI input to three MIDI ouputs (if you have not “thru” connector on your modules or to prevent MIDI delay in serial MIDI chain IN/THRU-> IN/THRU-> IN/THRU).

“Red strip” means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
