rev.2: 

S-180 8-step trigger sequencer for Eurorack / Doepfer A100.

(for longer sequences in 4HP see  S-161 16/32 step trig sequencer or wider  S-332 32-step trig sequencer or S-316 16-step CV/gate sequencer too)

Jacks: clock input, reset input, trig output
buttons: on/off steps, selectable seq length (2-8 steps), 3 modes: down, up/down, random
LEDs: dimmed light = sequence setting, full bright=actual step

to change seq mode (cycling in modes) – push and hold button no.1 for about 1s, LEDs will show selected mode
to on/off steps – push appropriate button shortly
to change seq length – push and hold appropriate button for about 1s

Long press of button 2 works as “manual reset” or “sequence length=2”.
Function of button 2 (its long press) can be swapped by holding button 2 at power up. This selection is memorized.
Seq length is selectable from 2 (or 3 – depends of selected button 2 function) to 8 steps

If you already have S-180 and do you want new firmware, I´ll add IC with new firmware to pack with an newly ordered module for free. Kindly email me your PCB revision (rev.1 or rev.2)

Can be used as clock divider too (up to divide-by-eight):
to “divide-by-three” for example set sequence length to three with first step active only. Incoming clock pulses no. 1., 4., 7… appears on S-180 output…

Double check power connection before powering your system please.
“Red strip” means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
