L-121 Folding LFO (4HP)

L-121 Folding LFO module for Eurorack / Doepfer A100 system.

From the top down:
Rate knob + CV in jack + rate LED
Folding knob + CV in jack
Bank Selection and Mode button + LEDs (short press = bank selection 1-2-3, long press = POsitive/NEgative/BOth)
Wave Selection knob + LED
Output jack + polarity LEDs

The L-121 is an LFO with “wavefolding” capability. The LFO rate is set by a knob or CV input. If a patch cord is plugged into the CV jack, the knob becomes an attenuator for the CV. The Rate LED blinks on and off for rates above approx. 1Hz, and fades on and off for rates under 1Hz.

The L-121 contains three banks of waveshapes (1-2-3), selected by a short press of the Mode button (LED off/dimmed/on = bank 1/2/3). Each bank contains 12 waveshapes (= 36 waveshapes total).

There are three modes of wavefolding. The mode is switched with a long press of the Mode button:
PO: folding affects positive part of wave only (LED off)
NE: negative part affected (LED dimmed)
BO: both polarities affected (LED on)

If the Fold/Modulation knob is at its minimum (full CCW), the L-121 works like a normal LFO, producing steady waveshapes (see the waveshape listing above). Turning the knob CW or increasing the modulation CV increases the folding amount. This means that the POsitive/NEgative/BOth parts of the currently-selected wave are internaly amplified, and the portions that exceed the upper and/or lower voltage limits are folded back on themselves. Mode and bank selection is memorized.

Output amplitude: approx. +/-5V.
Rate range: 0.0015Hz (over 10 minutes per cycle) to 30Hz

Width: 4TE/ 4HP/ 20mm
Depth: 45mm /1,8″ max.
Current: 35mA max.
Power cable included

Double check power connection before powering your system please.
„Red strip“ means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system
