C-310 Dual sample/hold – track/hold module (Opto-FET) with random mode.

Signal (to be sampled) input & output jacks, trigger/gate input jack + LED, s/h – t/h button + LED, all twice.

Sample/hold and track/hold modes are switchable from front panel button (short press), random sample mode selectable by long button press (normal or random triggering works in both s/h and t/h). Holding button at startup sets sampling time in S/H mode between 500us (less precise sampling but prevents feedthrough of input to ouput) and 2ms (precise sampling but sampled signal can appear on output – like 2ms T/H). Selected sampling time is indicated by short or long LED blinks at power up (can be set independently for channels). Shipped with top channel set to 2ms, bottom channel set to 500us.

In random mode is input clock internally divided randomly (probability is approx. “1/3” so in average every third trig/gate is used for sampling). In “normal” s/h and t/h modes input LED displays incoming triggers/gates, tracking LED shows tracking on/off. In random mode tracking LED displays input trigs/gates, sample LED blinks if current trig/gate is used for sampling.

“Red strip” means -12V connector side in Eurorack standards.
In some power distribution systems connector key can be reverted.
In this case cut connector key and plug power connector right way (with respect to red strip) or use different power cable appropriate to your power system.
